I am a Research Scientist at Sintef doing research on Software Product Innovation, in special on user-centered design applied to mobile computing and social computing areas. I hold a Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of São Paulo (Brazil, 2005) and a joint Msc in Mobile Computing and Security from NTNU (Norway) and KTH (Sweden, 2009). Professionally, I worked as a Techninical Consultant at Gemalto, delivering sim card solutions and improving theirs personalization process before starting a career in research. Research-wise I have worked both at Telenor and Sintef, specially in mobile computing. I've played many roles on during my research carreer so far: from software development to software architecture design; from requirements gathering and design to evaluation; and from project management to research proposal writing. Application-wise, I have worked with mobile health, internet of things, social networks, gamification and sharing platforms.
My research interests include Social and Mobile Computing, in special Computer Supported Cooperative work (CSCW), User-centred design; Gamification; Internet-of-things, Social Networks and Mobile Health.
